Along those lines, I was surprised when I read about Lloyd George. I grew up in the 1980s, so I heard quite a bit of U2, and through Bono and U2's music had heard about the skirmishes in Ireland, but didn't really know much about them, so I was inspired to do a couple of googles in order to understand the story better.
